AN Aussie start-up formed just five months ago has launched its first iPhone app. My eVault lets Australians securely document valued possessions for use in the event of loss, theft or damage. You enter product information, purchase price, replacement cost and market value, and snap a photo. The app calculates total asset value, sets reminders for periodic revaluation of artwork and home and contents insurance policy renewals and generates on-screen and printable reports. Data can be backed-up on iTunes and Siri can be used for voice input. It was produced by financial services professional Ron Voon.
